SCP‑1086 is an anomalous bacterial infection that drains the body’s immune defenses and creates a second neural mass inside the chest. Infected hosts (designated SCP‑1086‑1) have most of their white blood cells rerouted into a gelatinous, neuron‑rich mass called SCP‑1086‑2, which integrates into the victim’s nervous system and begins to exert influence over the brain.
