Iran-US Talks Progress In Geneva, Next Round In Vienna; Iran Prepared For War Or Peace | IT Global

The third round of indirect talks between the United States and Iran concluded in Geneva with significant progress on nuclear issues and sanctions relief. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that on some issues they have become very close to an understanding, while differences remain on others. Technical teams will meet in Vienna to address remaining technical issues with assistance from the International Atomic Energy Agency. The talks, mediated by Oman, were led by US Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner, with participation from IAEA chief Rafael Grossi. President Trump reiterated he would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons but emphasised his preference to solve the problem through diplomacy.
