Sunflower Painting Made Easy 🌻 | Perfect for Beginners | Day 13 Lesson Welcome to Day 13 of my 30 Days Painting Lessons 🌸 In this beginner-friendly series, you’ll learn basic brush strokes step by step and discover how to turn them into beautiful floral designs. Each lesson is designed with simple, easy-to-follow patterns that you can paint along with me. Today, we continue our flower painting journey with gentle strokes and calming techniques. This lesson is perfect for beginners and for anyone who wants to slow down, relax, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of painting. Remember, it’s not about being perfect—it’s about being present and creating something beautiful, one brushstroke at a time. 🌼 👉 Today, we’ll be using the round brush technique to paint flowers. For this technique, I usually use round brushes in sizes 6 and 4, a scruffy brush in 1/4" and 1/2", and a liner brush in 15/0 or 2. These are all the brushes you need—no large collection required. With just these few brushes, you can paint almost every type of flower beautifully. 🌸 👉 If you’re new here, check out the full playlist: https:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8vpWZYx9To&list=PL6bnJk7dBDKyn8iVvqfkTQDqa-YoEKUQR If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments — I am always happy to help you. You can download my practice sheet from my eBook, which includes guided designs, or simply practice the strokes on blank paper. 2) For each stroke, I reload the brush. This helps achieve well-defined strokes and a smooth, even flow. You don’t need to add water to the paint for smoothness—simply reloading the brush with paint does the magic.
