Tsunami Update in Davao Oriental A video captured the receding sea water at a beach in Mati City, Davao Oriental this Friday, October 10, following the Magnitude 7.6 earthquake that shook Davao Region. The incident indicates the possible arrival of a tsunami, along with Phivolcs warning for coastal areas in the following provinces affected by the tsunami alert in Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Davao Oriental, Southern Leyte, Leyte, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.
