Heartwarming footage shared by Kira Lewis shows the dog reunited with his owner in his hospital bed. Lewis said her grandfather had been living with lymphoma for two years. Doctors had given him only a few months, but he kept trying new treatments. Seattle was their last hope, where he underwent an experimental treatment. When his condition worsened, 27 family members travelled to be there, some driving, others flying in, including their church pastor. Many of the nurses knew about the plan and were incredibly kind. “He was a very loved man and touched so many hearts,” Lewis told Storyful. She later added on social media: “I have never felt so blessed that he has all this love and joy.”
