Socceroos’ win over Turkey puts Mike Grella’s controversial prediction in spotlight

California Post Senior Sports Reporter Michael Duarte spoke about the controversial video of former US soccer player Mike Grella slamming the Socceroos ahead of the Turkey tournament match. “I’d like to say for the record, Australia, I said you guys had a shot … never did I expect that you guys would pull off the ultimate Aussie upset," Mr Duarte told Sky News Australia. “In Mike's defence, if you were to just look at this match on paper, you didn’t see the finish, you didn’t see the game … you would think the game was three-nil Turkey.”
