Description
I just got locked into my underground vault.
This Fort Knox door has 24 locking bolts and it’s solid steel- there’s no way out….or is there??
Check this out- it’s got an inside release handle.
We just finished building and this Fort Knox door is my favorite thing in the entire house.
Fort Knox offers a ton of different options, we chose both an electric and a mechanical lock, for our hardware we went with black chrome, and for the finish on the door we chose the distressed look with rivets.
One thing’s for sure- anything kept behind this door is gonna be safe.
So let me show you the room.
All four walls plus the floor and ceiling are reinforced concrete.
There’s a built-in dehumidifier and display cases with low-voltage lighting.
I displayed my grandfather’s WWII uniform and The New guy is storing his emergency food supply.
Honestly, after a hard day in construction it’s really nice to have quiet place to relax.
Let me know, what would you keep behind a Fort Knox door? @hausplans
