SNP victory is a bad thing for Scotland - here's why

The 2026 election is done and dusted, and it's another victory for the SNP who will serve as the largest party in Scotland for a fifth successive term. Both the Scottish Labour and Conservative parties suffered big losses, as Reform UK split the anti-Indy vote, helping John Swinney's party on their way to 58 seats at Holyrood. There were also big gains for both the Lib Dems and the Greens.
