We rode the Imst Alpine Coaster in Austria, one of the longest in the world at 2.22 miles with amazing mountain views! What makes it the longest pure downhill coaster is that the entire 3.5 km track is all downhill (unlike the one in Andorra that includes the uphill section in its total length). You take a relaxing 10-minute gondola ride up the mountain first. The ticket (gondola + coaster) cost us about $26 each. At the top, we rode it down without ever using the brakes at all.
