Royal Navy helicopter crash VICTIMS NAMED as families left 'devastated' for three killed

Three Royal Navy members killed in a military helicopter tragedy were praised today as “dedicated and highly-valued professionals” as defence chiefs released their names. Among them was pilot Lieutenant Lily-Mae Fisher, 31, Britain’s only serving Royal Navy Commando and a champion sportswoman, who represented the UK. Also among those killed was veteran pilot and war veteran senior officer Lieutenant Commander Chris Grayson, 42, and Petty Officer Owen Green, 24. Sadly they were killed in a training accident in Devon when their Royal Navy Merlin Mk4 ran into difficulty in the early hours of Wednesday. The incident prompted a huge emergency services operation after their helicopter hit a field, with what witnesses described as a “bright red flash” in Sourton, near Okehampton.
