Come Ride With Us! A Full Day With Our Horses & Mules

Today we’re taking you along for a full day in the life with our horses and mules. From morning chores to riding in the mountains, this is what it really looks like to live with and work with equines every day. The day starts with feeding the herd and getting everyone ready before heading out on a ride. We saddle up our mules Reata and Clyde along with our mustang Rooster for a ride through the mountains. There’s nothing quite like spending a day in the saddle with good animals and big country. Later we haul to the arena to spend some time working with our anxious horse Taz and continuing the training journey with our mustang Rooster. These sessions are all about building confidence, improving communication, and helping each horse become more relaxed and responsive. We also spend time with our mule Clyde and introduce him to our newly adopted wild mustang. This young mustang is just starting her gentling process, and Clyde helps us show her that the world with people isn’t something to fear.
