Description
Once the largest enclosed shopping mall in Mississippi, the Metrocenter Mall in Jackson opened in 1978 and stood as a symbol of the city’s growth. Decades later, it’s fallen silent, its halls empty, stores shuttered, and escalators frozen in time. In this video, we explore what’s left of this once-thriving landmark and uncover something we never expected to find.
This is one of the most surreal abandoned places we’ve ever explored. A mix of nostalgia, decay, and the haunting quiet of a mall that’s been left behind for years.
What started as an exploration quickly turned into something much more real.
