This is Part 1 of our biggest build ever — a full-scale modern chalet, raised on concrete piles deep in the forest. In this episode, we start from the ground up. Two men. No crew. Just skill, determination, and timber. We raise the entire structural frame — walls, roof skeleton, and two full floors — all elevated above the ground on a concrete pile foundation. Once the frame is complete, we wrap the entire structure in a wind-resistant membrane, sealing it against the elements and preparing it for the next phase.
