Two arrested in animal cruelty case after injured dog abandoned on I-35 in Waco

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (KWTX) - Two people were arrested last week in connection with an animal cruelty investigation after a severely injured dog was found along Interstate 35 last year. Melissa Wood and Jacob Vincent II were arrested on charges of cruelty to a non-livestock animal, a third-degree felony, according to Bruceville-Eddy Police Chief Michael Dorsey.
