Fixing A Dented Dishwasher Door

One of my employees just dropped a dishwasher and dented it. Now the customer, my wife, is unhappy – let see if I can fix it. I need to remove all these screws around the door- they’re T20. T stands for torques and 20 is the size bit. There’re 3 screws on each side and 6 more across the top. Now I’ve never taken the skin of a dishwasher door, but how hard can it be, Voila! And just like that, the control panel pops out. Now I need to remove the padding, I guess this is probably to help with noise. And finally, the handle- it’s held on with 4 Phillips Head screws. I’m going to save all of this and reuse it later. Next, I take out all of life’s frustrations on the old door panel. That was fun! The new door skin came with a protective film on it to keep it from being scratched. I reattach the handle and then the padding. The padding was originally held on with double sided tape, but I’m going to use spray adhesive. I’ve had this can forever, it felt good to finally use it on something.
