On the tundra, survival depends on animals — and not all nomads follow the same ones. Reindeer herders and camel herders move across the same hostile land, guided by different rhythms, different instincts, and different risks. Their paths sometimes cross, but their rules are not the same. When Edik leaves camp alone to recover the reindeer under his responsibility, he steps into a test every young herder must face. Far from shelter, with only his animals and his dog, the boy confronts isolation, cold, and uncertainty. His mother worries. The elders trust the ordeal. Among nomadic families, trust is not given lightly — it is learned through danger. As spring advances, another urgency emerges. Rivers begin to weaken, ice becomes unreliable, and entire clans must decide when to move. Reindeer herders head north in search of cooler ground. Camel herders read the grass, the wind, and the rain, letting the animals guide the route. Nothing is owned. The land belongs to the spirits, not to men. Through seasonal migration, ancestral rituals, and moments of waiting and reunion, this film reveals how different nomadic worlds coexist — bound by movement, shaped by risk, and held together by trust between generations.
