A lot of young athletes think one missed opportunity means the dream is over. Didn’t make the rep team. Didn’t start. Didn’t play enough minutes. Didn’t have a great season. So they decide they’ve missed their chance. But sport doesn’t work like that. Every season creates another opportunity. Every off-season creates another opportunity. Every training session creates another opportunity. One decision doesn’t define an athlete. One setback doesn’t end a journey.
