Pillars of Eternity – Turn-Based Mode Trailer OUT NOW

Hear us, Watchers! Turn-Based Mode for Pillars of Eternity is now live on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and the Xbox PC App. Originally introduced in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, this new feature brings turn-based combat to the original adventure, letting players experience encounters with a more deliberate pace and tactical flexibility. Players can switch between the classic Real-Time with Pause system and Turn-Based Mode at any time during their playthrough, giving you even more control over how you approach combat. We sincerely thank you, our amazing players, for your time and support in testing Turn-Based Mode during the beta. Along with fixes and improvements based on your feedback, this update also adds the option to change the main menu art by clicking on the base game or DLC icons.
