This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback project car known as Krispy Kritter. It is a highly specialized drag racer powered by a mid-mounted Westinghouse J34 turbine engine, which was originally sourced from a US Navy McDonnell F2H Banshee jet fighter. The car was built from a bare unibody shortly after it was purchased new. Its exterior is finished in red with white accents and vintage-style lettering. To accommodate the jet engine, the fiberglass rear bodywork was modified, and the car features twin drag chutes for stopping power. The mechanical setup is a mix of custom and vintage parts, including 15-inch slotted alloy wheels, a 1939 Plymouth front axle, and aluminum brakes from a 1958 Buick. Inside, the cabin is stripped for racing with a custom roll cage, a single padded seat, and a fuel tank where the passenger seat would normally be.
