INGREDIENTS
Dough:
- 3 Medium Boiled Potatoes
- 2/4 Cup Fine Semolina/Sooji
- 2 Pinch Black Pepper/Kali Mirch
- Salt
Sauce:
- 2 Medium Tomato
- 4-5 Dried Byadgi Red Chilli
- 5-6 Garlic Cloves
- 10-12 Cashewnuts
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/4 Tsp Oregano
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- Salt
Garnishing:
- 1 Cheese Cube
METHOD
- Grate boiled potatoes, add sooji, salt and mix well. Cover and let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Take a sauce pan and add tomatoes, whole red chillies, garlic, cashew nuts and some water. Boil for 10-12 minutes. Let the mixture cool down and make a fine paste.
- Divide the dough into small portions and give them a round shape by rolling between your palms. Gently press in the middle to make an indentation.
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot and add the gnocchi. Boil for 5-7 minutes and then drain.
- Heat butter in a pan and add the prepared tomato chilli paste as required. Add oregano, sugar and salt. Mix well.
- Add gnocchi and mix well.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
