Exploring Richmond BC: SkyTrain Views, Osaka Market & The BEST Chinese Burger! Vancouver Vibe 🇨🇦

Join me, Jerome Forestwood, as I head south of Vancouver to explore the vibrant, culture-rich city of Richmond, British Columbia! 🇨🇦 This journey is all about incredible views, unique shopping, and some of the best flavors you can find in the Pacific Northwest. ​The adventure kicks off with a scenic ride on the Canada Line. There is something truly special about crossing the SkyTrain bridge over the Fraser River. 🚋 Watching the water rush beneath while the mountains loom in the distance is the perfect way to enter Richmond. It’s a perspective of the Lower Mainland you just can’t get from a car! ​Our first stop is the iconic Yaohan Centre. I couldn't resist popping into Osaka Supermarket. 🛒 If you’ve never been, it’s an absolute sensory experience with aisles full of international treasures. My mission? Grabbing some Vietnamese Instant Coffee. ☕ It’s the perfect fuel for a long day of exploring, and Osaka always has the best selection of imported treats. ​Hunger finally caught up with me, so I made my way over to President Plaza. This is where the magic happened. I stopped by Meet in Xi'an to try their famous Cumin Beef Chinese Crispy Burger. 🍔 Let me tell you—it was incredible! The bread was perfectly flaky and toasted, and the cumin beef was packed with that authentic, bold spice that Xi'an cuisine is known for. If you visit Richmond, this is a must-eat. 😋 ​After lunch, it was time for some serious walking. I spent the afternoon exploring the massive Aberdeen Centre Mall, wandering through the unique shops and taking in the atmosphere. 🛍️ From there, I transitioned through Aberdeen Square Mall, which has such a modern, sleek vibe, eventually making my way toward Aberdeen Station. ​To wrap up this Richmond trek, I hopped back on the SkyTrain for a relaxing ride back to Downtown Vancouver. 🌆 Richmond never ceases to amaze me with its blend of culture, transit accessibility, and world-class food.
