Cut your white soap base into cubes and melt it. I used a goat-milk soap base and melted it in a double boiler. Add some pink soap colorant and any soap fragrance or essential oil. I added a “Strawberries & Cream” fragrance. Stir well and pour about one-third of the mixture into the mold. Let it cool in the fridge. Meanwhile, melt a bit of clear glycerin soap base and add black colorant. You may need around 10-15 drops to get a rich, saturated color. Take the mold out of the fridge and, using a toothpick or a bamboo skewer, apply black spots in several layers. Let it set. While it’s cooling, melt a bit more white soap base and add any fragrance you like. I used a marshmallow fragrance here-it pairs beautifully with strawberry! Pour this layer over the soap in the molds and optionally add more black spots on top. They may sink a little-don’t worry, that’s totally normal 🙂 Just keep layering the black soap.
