Description
A worker of bumblebee (Bombus diversus diversus, family Apidae) visiting purple flowers of Japanese big thistle (aka “To-ne” thistle; Cirsium nipponicum var. incomptum, family Asteraceae) by the roadside at the foot of a mountain for nectar and pollen.
