How Many Licks did it take?

In 2021 this guy went viral for trying to figure out how many licks it would take to reach the center of a giant jaw breaker, at 1000 licks he hit the first color layer, by 2000 lick more layers started to show, at 4000 licks it look like this so he ditched the paper and switched to a tally counter. and after 13 days he finally reached the center after 7,300 licks. BUT he did stop there because he wanted to see how many licks it would take to finish the entire jawbreaker. So after 10,300 like it looked like this, then at 14,581 he reached the milestone of breaking through the other side, and everyone was super impressed (read comment) and at 21,225 like he had one whole section completely carved down, But at this point he jaw was in so much pain that he had to stop.
