Information about the Jerusalem’s Christmas Tree Trail itself will be provided after this announcement (Paul).
Due to the current situation and the ongoing war, I haven’t been able to guide tours in person as usual. However, I’m eager to continue sharing the rich and sacred history of the Holy Land through my videos.
If you enjoy these journeys and would like to stay connected, I warmly invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, where I bring Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Israel to life from wherever you are. For more insights and updates, follow me on Facebook and Instagram -I regularly share additional content, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments you won’t want to miss.
If you feel inspired to support my work, your generosity helps me keep these videos coming. Whether through a simple subscription, sharing with friends interested in Israel’s history, or by supporting me directly, every bit makes a difference.
I also offer a personal touch: upon your request, I would be honored to pray for you at the Western Wall, light a candle in your name at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, or anywhere meaningful in the Holy Land. If you have any special personal requests, please reach out - I’m happy to respond and even create a dedicated video for you.
Should you have a personal request I will be more than happy to respond and even film it in a personal video.

This video follows my daytime walk along what I like to call Jerusalem’s Christmas Tree Trail. I began the tour while the sun was still up, which means most of the Christmas trees were not yet lit. Even so, the holiday spirit was already everywhere.
My first stop was the YMCA in Jerusalem. Their Christmas decorations were already in place and the impressive 15 meter tree was standing proudly in the courtyard. From there I continued to a beautiful lookout point facing the Old City, where the golden light of the afternoon created a peaceful holiday atmosphere even without the evening lights.
Next I walked toward Jaffa Gate and entered the area where the Christmas market stalls were getting ready for the season. Some shops were already open with ornaments, crafts and warm drinks waiting for the crowds. I also passed by the famous Jerusalem Santa House, which was still closed at this hour but already decorated from the outside and ready for visitors.
From there I continued to New Gate Street. The bakeries had their holiday pastries out, the chocolatiers were arranging their displays and some places were already serving hot drinks and even festive alcoholic treats. Even during the day you can feel how much this street transforms as Christmas approaches.
My final stop was the Notre Dame complex in Jerusalem. Their Christmas tree is one of the largest in the city and always competes in size with the YMCA tree. Although the lights were not yet on, the decorations were already complete and the courtyard looked beautifully prepared for the coming celebrations.
Along the way I passed several smaller Christmas trees scattered throughout the streets, each one adding its own charm to the walk. I promise to return at night for a full Christmas lights tour when every tree shines in its full glory.
