$150,000 Battle of the Beasts: Polaris vs. Can-Am 4x4 Showdown We headed up to Gibson Lake, Ontario to tear up the trails with the Can-Am Maverick X3 and the Polaris RZR, and it turned into an absolute mud-fest. After weeks of rain and a heavy spring thaw, the trails were soaked, rutted, and deeper than ever. The second we dropped in, we knew it was going to be one of those days — knee-deep water, bottomless holes, and mud that wanted to eat machines alive. Both the X3 and RZR were put to the test from the moment we hit the throttle. We hit everything from flooded out lowlands to tight, technical climbs that turned slick and sketchy real fast.
