Canada-U.S. trade minister visits D.C. to resume trade negotiations | Power & Politics

After five months of delay, Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc was in D.C. to resume face-to-face negotiations where he met with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. Back in October, U.S. President Donald Trump called off talks in response to an anti-tariff TV ad from the government of Ontario. CBC’s Kate McKenna tracked down the minister and tried to get a comment on the progress being made, plus deputy chief of staff to former prime minister Justin Trudeau Brian Clow joins Power & Politics to discuss the progress being made on the trade front.
