Lethbridge operating budget can lower property tax increase to 2.67%

Members of Lethbridge City Council are moving forward with recommendations of dozens of budget reduction measures ahead of the 2027 operating budget. Council’s Community Issues Committee sought to ensure that residents will pay a lower municipal property tax increase of 2.67 percent. The resolutions are expected to pass at the next city council meeting on June 23rd.
