Expanding the Jobsite for the Big Machines - Part 3 of my ongoing RC construction site build — and this time, I went big. The work zone needed more space for the fleet, so I brought in additional road sections, reinforced them with metal grating under the dirt for stability, and compacted the whole thing using a sheeps foot roller. The result? A much larger, more stable operating area for my RC trucks and heavy equipment. Most of the new roadwork was laid in off-camera, but today’s session was all about compacting, filling, and locking it in. The 70lb RC excavator came out for some precision digging and shaping — and near the end, I pulled off a cliff-scaling move that would make any operator proud. No safety ropes, no shortcuts — just pure track power and careful control. By the end, the site is ready for bigger hauls, smoother runs, and even more action in the next phase.
