DAY 11 // 8,308 of 10,000 Students — Future Generations Tour 2026 Central Hawke’s Bay College. Another special stop on the road — and a school we’ve had the privilege of revisiting. One of the key messages we’ve carried with us on this tour — and shared with thousands of young people — actually came from this place: “Your back story doesn’t define your next story” There’s also a personal connection within the team. Graeme attended this school many years ago, and today we had the privilege of bringing Jack’s grandmother and Graeme’s mum Jill Jensen into the space to share the experience. After the assembly, you could feel the connection — students opening up, open, respectful, and wanting to be part of something bigger. Then the energy shifted — flooding out, grabbing stickers, laughing, and just having a proper good time together. Because connection isn’t just in the quiet moments — it’s in the energy and shared experience too. The ripple keeps growing.
