Note that in Victoria special carriages often have names instead of numbers, and are nearly always named after Victorian rivers.** *R761:* Mainline express 4-6-4 steam locomotive, built by North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow, in service 1951. *VZVF1:* Water tanker built 1955, used for extra water capacity for the R class. *68BW:* Second class W type car, wooden body, built 1927. *63BW:* Second class W type car, wooden body, built 1926. *700BK:* Former South Australian Railways steel bodied car, built 1940. Brought to Victoria for use on country trains in the 1980s. *14BRS:* Second class S type car with buffet. Steel body, built 1956. *7ABE:* Half first half second class E type car, wodden body, built 1909. *38BE:* Second class E type car, wooden body, built 1910. *25BE:* Second class E type car, wooden body, built 1909. - The cars above this line are the passenger cars to be used for the public shuttle trips. The cars below this line are to accommodate the staff and volunteers over the weekend. *Coliban:* Wooden E type sleeping car, built 1923. *Werribee:* Wooden W type sleeping car, built 1928, air conditioned. *Carey:* Shower car. Wooden body, converted from a guards van. Built 1901. *Goulburn:* Wooden E type sleeping car with lounge area, used as a crew car, built 1908. *PCJ491:* Luggage/guards van with diesel generator to provide on-train power. Originally built for the Overland, it was used in the 2010s on V/line's standard gauge Albury trains, and is still partly in the modern V/line livery. Built 1970. *ELX244:* Open wagon, being used to carry extra coal for the weekend. Built 1969. *S301:* Mainline diesel-electric streamlined EMD, named 'Sir Thomas Mitchell.' Built by Clyde engineering in Sydney, in service 1957. Still wearing the green and yellow Freight Australia colours from the late 90s/early 00s, but with the FA logo altered to read Steamrail Victoria. Donated to Steamrail by FA's successor Pacific National in 2024.
