Responding to an appeal from the Delhi government, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has now taken upon itself the responsibility of upgrading three of the capital's busiest and most congested corridors. Following a request made approximately a year ago, work on these projects has now commenced in earnest, with feasibility studies and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) currently being prepared.
