Taking the Dogs Camping in a Heat Wave! How do Huskies Stay Cool?

We're finally sharing our latest camping trip! Join our three Siberian Huskies—Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor—on a multi-day adventure in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. After a couple of weeks of stressful vet visits, we were so excited to share this fun video we've been holding on to. Get ready for stunning waterfalls, Great Lakes swimming, sandy paws, and plenty of husky chaos. In this video, we take you along as we set up our RV at Brimley State Park, hike the windy trails of Tahquamenon Falls with our family (and a special appearance by Stewart the dog!), and cool off in the refreshing waters of Lake Superior. You'll see the girls have an absolute blast, from swimming in the lake to digging a massive hole on the beach when the waves got too big! We also take a trip to Sault Ste. Marie to watch the giant freighters pass through the Soo Locks. This is what it's all about for us. Life is short, so make memories with your dogs! 🌲 OUR MICHIGAN U.P.
