Lost In Woods On The Way To The Off Grid Cabin

I do appreciate the help, too. . In this video, the creator, "The Lonely Scavenger," clarifies a previous story about getting lost on the way to his off-grid cabin (0:05). He explains that the misunderstanding arose because his trail is intentionally stealthy, narrow, and unmarked to prevent others from finding his cabin (0:53-0:58). The main reason he got lost was due to the thick forest and impassable obstacles like tangled fallen trees that are hours to cut through (1:13-1:24). He entered the bush in the wrong area, couldn't find his familiar trail, and became disoriented (1:52-2:06). Although he carries a compass and knew the general direction of his cabin (2:08-2:16), the numerous obstacles prevented him from easily reaching it. He also mentions that his trail changes annually due to new fallen trees (3:16-3:26). To prevent future disorientation, he plans to use reflective tape (2:30-2:44) and potentially glow-in-the-dark tape (2:47-2:48) to mark trees along his trail. He currently uses pastel chalk to mark trees on his way back from the cabin, as that's usually when he experiences difficulty (2:51-3:07). He eventually found his trail and made it safely to his cabin (3:39-3:49).
