We Brought a Military Bridge Layer Back to Life

This isn’t just a tank… it’s a machine designed to launch a full bridge. When we got our hands on this Chieftain bridgelayer, the bridge itself was in pieces — each section weighing over 5 tonnes, with missing pins, brackets and components. In this video, we crane each section into place, remake the missing parts from scratch on our SwiftCut Plasma table. Then comes the real test… can it actually deploy? We take it out into the field and attempt to lay the bridge across our pond — and to our surprise, it works perfectly.
