KL police chief 'will fight to the end' to see through Kg Sg Baru eviction

Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus has vowed to push through the eviction at Kampung Sungai Baru today, declaring he “will fight to the end” should there be any intentional provocation, to ensure the operation is completed. Fadil warned that firm action would be taken against anyone attempting to provoke unrest. The operation saw heightened tension after Dang Wangi district police chief Suzilme Affendy Sulaiman was injured during a clash with residents.
