After the Second World War, Hitler, Himmler, and more than twenty high-ranking Nazis tried in Nuremberg were held responsible for crimes against humanity. This documentary looks at how such crimes could be justified through a reinterpretation of the law under the Third Reich. Through the fate of three emblematic characters, a jurist, an executioner, and an opponent of the regime, the film explores the role of jurists, courts, and legal institutions in this process.
