Our Vacation Became A Cat Rescue

While on vacation with my sister on the remote island of Gökçeada, we discovered something heartbreaking. In the middle of nowhere, miles away from any town or village, we found a group of abandoned cats struggling to survive. Some were sick, most were underweight, and there was no sign that anyone was caring for them. Over the following days, we returned every morning and evening with food, water, and medication. What started as a simple vacation quickly turned into a rescue mission. In this video, you’ll see the location, the cats we found, and the efforts we made to help them.
