Hello, friends! Today, we’re making the most adorable hand-painted hairbrush: a sweet little keepsake to celebrate one of Sanrio’s most lovable characters, Lovelymocha. You might know Lovelymocha from Cinnamoroll’s world: she’s kind, fashionable, and talkative. With her cozy chocolate-brown fur and pretty pink ribbons, she’s practically made to be painted. Let’s grab our supplies and get started. Materials needed: Wooden hairbrush Pencil Light brown, brown, light pink, and pink acrylic paints. (cream paint optional for polka dot design) Paint brushes Ribbon Scissors (0:49) Step 1: Sketch Lovelymocha’s head and ears onto the back of a wooden brush. (0:59) Step 2: Paint the first coat with light brown paint and let dry completely. (1:07) Step 3: Apply a second coat of light brown paint and let dry. (1:12) Step 4: Paint Lovelymocha’s bows with light pink paint. (1:16) Step 5: Use brown paint to outline the bows, head, and ears. (1:25) Step 6: Add Lovelymocha’s eyes and mouth. (1:38) Step 7: Apply a second coat of brown paint as needed to touch up the outlines. (1:46) Step 8: Add light pink star, bow, and dot motifs.
