I’m finally putting that Aluminator from @ingersollcuttingtools to work 🎶 I’m using it to rough down the stock, taking off the 1/4” hat in one pass, with three step downs for the pocket. 2,000 sfm 3,800 rpm .008” fpt .230” step down I’ll continue to increase the depth of cut to see if I can get the pocket in two step downs.
