Trump: “You should be ashamed of yourself”

President Trump asked members of Congress on Tuesday night to stand if they agreed with his statement that the first duty of the U.S. government is to protect American citizens, not those in the country illegally.   Republicans stood and applauded, while Democrats generally remained seated.   "You should be ashamed of yourself, not standing up," the president said, prompting Reps.
