Ingredients
For Tempering
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 1
Turmeric powder - ¼ Tsp
Asafoetida - ¼ tsp
Fresh curry leaves - Few
For Grinding
Freshly grated coconut - 1 Cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 2
For Making Kosu Palya
Cabbage - 250 gms
Salt - As needed
Freshly chopped coriander leaves- Few
Maggi Magic - 1 Sachet
Method:
1. To a kadai, add two tsp of oil.
2. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, channa dal and urad dal.
3. Then add green chilli cut and a few fresh curry leaves.
4. Now add turmeric powder and asafoetida powder.
5. Then add the chopped cabbage and saute them.
6. No need to add water to cook the cabbage.
7. Add salt and mix it well.
8. Close the kadai and cook the vegetable for 5 mins.
9. Meanwhile in a mixer jar, Grind a cup of freshly grated coconut, cumin seeds and green chillies
10. Add the ground coconut mixture with the cooked cabbage.
11. Mix well, add freshly chopped coriander leaves.
12. Add the MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic.

13. Combine it with the palya. Cover it and cook for two minutes.
14. Tasty Kosu palya is ready to be served.
15. Serve the tasty kosu palya along with nice hot sambar rice or with some nice soft chapathis.
