Each channel relies on a waveform buffer (thirty-two \(5\)-bit values) rather than predefined waveforms, allowing for high flexibility. • CD-ROM Audio: Standard Red Book CD audio for high-fidelity in-game soundtracks. HuCard Slot: Plays standard Japanese PC Engine HuCards. (HuCard games are physically identical to TurboChips, but are electrically region-locked without a converter.) CD-ROM Drive: Plays standard CD-ROM², Super CD-ROM², and audio CDs. Built-in BIOS: Integrates the Super System Card (Version 3.0) directly on the motherboard, which eliminates the need to buy separate system cards to play Super CD-ROM² games.
