You absolutely hate to see this...

We saw Jack Hughes have his season ended early just last season after he required surgery on his shoulder that saw him miss 20 games. So Sunday during the Las Vegas vs New Jersey Devils game, when he went hard into the boards after getting tangled up with Jack Eichel, it was a scary moment to see him leave the game holding that same right shoulder in pain. We saw Sheldon Keefe ejected from the game as he was upset about it not being called a penalty when it was called a penalty on Jack Hughes earlier in the game on a very similar play. Well today, Keefe was handed a $25,000 fine for unprofessional conduct towards officials. Worse than all that though, Jack Hughes underwent shoulder surgery and was placed on LTIR once again, ending his season early. A devastating blow to a Devils team in the hunt for the Playoffs.
