Actually, we’re headed to a party tonight and I’m going to show you how to make my favorite dip.
I’m using two white onions and two jalapeno peppers.
My wife bought this chopper over 15 years ago and I love this thing.
It has a pull chord just like a chain saw, and it chops everything up really fine.
If you don’t like hot foods, you can substitute the jalapenos with a bell pepper.
I chop up the white onions and then I add two cups of mayonnaise.
I think I have some around here somewhere- here it is.
That looks like 2 cups.
Next, we need margarine- 8 tablespoons oughta do it.
I mix the ingredients with my drill -it works best if the margarine is room temperature.
Now we need shredded cheddar jack cheese, 4 cups to be exact.
I mounted this cheese grater to a Sawzall blade to speed things up.
After I mix in the cheese- it’s time for the secret ingredient, “Slap YA Mama”.
I found this recipe on one of their cans years ago and modified it a bit.
You’re supposed to let this chill in the refrigerator for an hour - but I can’t wait to try it. @hausplans
