Murder charges declined in Mililani shooting robbery as suspect acted in self-defense

The murder charges against a 21-year-old man were declined in connection to a robbery in Mililani home where a 19-year-old man was fatally shot late Thursday night, after police determined the suspect acted in self-defense. A 21-year-old man who was arrested as a suspect with the victim in the robbery was charged with four counts of first-degree robbery and his bail was set at $250,000.
