Journey to HOTTEST Place on Earth | We were not prepared! | Danakil Depression & Dallol

I journeyed to the hottest place in the world, during the hottest time of the year that I could've possibly gone- in the dead middle of the Summer. The Danankil Depression is located in Ethiopia, close to the border of Eritrea and Djibouti, Africa, in the Afar region. It was so hot but the experience was so incredible. It was a three day journey where we saw some of the most unusual sights I've ever seen. There was lava, volcanos, salt flats and one of the most mesmerizing places called, Dallol. It truly looked like we traveled to another planet! The Danakil depression is the lowest and hottest place on earth with temperatures soaring well into the 100's. At times, I didn't think I could take the heat any longer, but then the landscapes kept me going. The views will blow your mind! This was one adventure in Ethiopia, I’ll never forget!
