2 cups makhana (fox nuts) – approx. 50g
1–2 tsp more ghee
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup almonds
1/2 cup muskmelon seeds (kharbooje ke beej)
1 cup grated dry coconut (kopra) or desiccated coconut
2 tbsp khus khus (poppy seeds)
150g roasted chana with skin (or sattu)
4 tbsp ghee (for roasting chana powder)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Optional:
1 tsp white pepper powder OR
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Pistachios for garnish (optional)
For Mishri Syrup:
1 cup thread mishri (rock sugar) – approx. 200–250g
3/4 cup water
