Security post attacked in Pakistan killing 15 policemen

At least 15 policemen have been killed in a car bomb attack and an ambush in north-west Pakistan. A newly formed military group linked to the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility. Police say a suicide bomber and several fighters rammed the security post with a vehicle laden with explosives, which was followed by heavy gunfire. Shortly after multiple blasts were heard in the areas and the checkpoint collapsed. Imtiaz Gul is the Executive Director at the Center for Research and Security Studies.
