Designed by the British in 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟔, this engineering masterpiece has been serving the city for a century and is still fully functional today! 🌟 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: ⚙️ 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 – This tank uses natural gravity and pressure to fill itself from the 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐦, a brilliant concept from 100 years ago. 🏗️ 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐚𝐫 – Located in the famous Tanchi Bazaar (named after this very tank!), it remains the primary water source for half of Bannu city. 🛠️ 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 – The original 𝟏𝟎-𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 installed in 1926 still carries water at high pressure to a height of 40 feet without any modern mechanical aid. 📍 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Situated at the 𝐃𝐌𝐀 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 in Bannu.
